Do you have to be planning on obtaining law
degree to apply for the scholarship?
No. The scholarship was intended to benefit applicants
interested in any aspect of the legal field and is not limited to law students
only.
Do I have to attend a four-college?
No. Many careers in the legal field are based on 2-years
degrees obtained at a junior college or technical school.
Is my GPA the most important criteria when ranking the
applicants?
No. The award will be based on a balance of all criteria. The
applicant must prove above all to be bright, compassionate, wholesome,
respectful, courteous, unselfish, family oriented and focused.
Is is possible to have more
than one recipient?
Yes. The committee
may, in its discretion, award additional scholarships for students at technical
institutes or other institutions of higher learning for shorter periods of time
or partial scholarship amounts.
